Salmon is a delicious, nutritious food packed full of vitamins, minerals and essential Omega-3 fatty acids all of which help maintain a healthy balanced diet.

Scientific evidence suggests many benefits from eating oil-rich fish such as salmon – including reducing the incidence of diseases such as cancer and heart disease. It is also associated with brain development and concentration; healthy joint function and an improvement in skin problems, amongst other benefits.

These are some of the reasons why the UK Government recommends that everyone should consume two portions of fish a week, at least one of which should be oil rich such as Atlantic salmon.
