There’s been a lot of discussion this week about choosing sustainable fish, thanks to the Marine Conservation Society’s latest update to its ‘Good Fish Guide.’
Investors in the Environment is a national environmental accreditation scheme. It is designed to help organisations save time and money, reduce their impact on the environment and get promoted for their green credentials.
Participation means that we are comprehensively audited each year on our environmental approach. This includes a review of our use of energy, water and transport; how we deal with waste and recycling; our interaction with our local community and our overall approach to improving our environmental impact.
During our audit, the assessor commented that we have moved forward over the past year to the point where we are close to achieving our ‘Green’ level accreditation, which is the highest level of iiE certification.
Well done to everyone, keep up the good work!
