Chilli & Lime Goujon Tacos

A fun way to cook up a fast tasty meal using our delicious new BigFish Breaded Goujons!

This recipe is really easy.  Just combine a few simple ingredients to make a fresh tasting and totally yummy BigFish take on a classic Mexican favourite.  Serve with coleslaw on the side – make fresh at home or use a good quality shop bought version.

L. Chilli & Lime Goujons (3.0WEBSITE)


  • 1Pack BigFish Brand Chilli & Lime Goujons
  • 1Pack small soft tortilla wraps
  • 6cherry tomatoes, halved
  • halfa ripe avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1lime
  • 1 tspolive oil
  • SeasoningFreshly ground black pepper and sea salt
  • To serveSour cream and fresh coleslaw
  • For the coleslaw
  • 100mlmayonnaise
  • 1/2 lemonzested and juiced
  • 1tbspcider vinegar
  • 1 tbspwholegrain mustard
  • 1/4white cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4red cabbage, shredded
  • 1carrot, grated
  • 1/2red onion, thinly sliced
  • seasoningsalt and pepper to taste


  • 1.Cook the BigFish Brand goujons as per the packet instructions.
  • 2.In a bowl, combine tomatoes and avocado with a squeeze of fresh lime, drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and pepper – leave to one side until ready to serve.
  • 3.When the goujons are cooked, place the tortillas on a microwaveable plate and heat for 30 seconds (or as instructed).
  • 4. To make the coleslaw, just whisk together mayonnaise, lemon, vinegar, mustard and seasoning, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • 5. To serve, layer coleslaw, tomato and avocado salad, sour cream and goujons onto the warm, soft tortillas, roll, wrap and enjoy!
